In the UK, the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) has launched a new awards programme to acknowledge the work of cleaning operatives during the Coronavirus pandemic.
The BICSc Thumbs-Up Awards will be a virtual event on September 24. Five prizes will be given to cleaning operatives who went above and beyond their usual duties.
Each winner will receive a cash prize/voucher, an engraved trophy and a ticket to attend the BICSc 60th anniversary celebrations in September 2021.
